Housed in an early 19th-century farmhouse in one of Bergen County's most historically layered towns, the Meadowlands Museum documents the social and natural history of the Hackensack Meadowlands region. Its collection covers everything from Native American life to the industrial era that transformed this wetland landscape. Rutherford is also the hometown of poet William Carlos Williams.
